Covering Your Smile And Eyes In Texas
By
Paying out-of-pocket for yearly dental checkups probably won’t break the bank. But what happens if you need more serious dental work? Whether you live in Texas or anywhere else in the country, a root canal or crown can easily cost more than $1,000. If you’re working, and your employer-sponsored group health insurance plan includes dental coverage as part of its benefits package, the financial blow will be less severe.
If you’re not working or you’re not offered a dental plan where you work, you still have the option of purchasing separate dental insurance. Dental indemnity or fee-for-service plans allow participants to visit any credentialed dentist or dental specialist they wish. The participant pays the dentist at the time of service and gets reimbursed according to the plan’s coverage. This is a plan for those who enjoy the freedom of provider selection and don’t mind a higher monthly premium and greater out-of-pocket expense.
Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO) plans require members to seek all services through their assigned dentist. These affordable plans offer preventive services at little or no cost to the member. DMO plans differ in premium and copay levels. Dental PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plans offer patients the choice of an indemnity plan and the affordability of a managed care plan.
Having dental insurance often does not entitle you to immediate benefits. Many of the individual dental health care plans in Dallas, Houston and throughout Texas have a waiting period for certain procedures. Routine care is usually covered immediately, but you often need to be covered for six months or more before you are covered for more expensive procedures.
And while vision insurance has become a mainstay benefit for employees at larger companies, there are still many individuals who pay out of pocket for their glasses and eye exams. For those who don’t get vision coverage with their health insurance benefits package, it may be purchased separately. And it’s usually provided in the form of a Vision Maintenance Organization (VMO) or PPO network. Coverage generally includes yearly eye exams and a percentage of the cost of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Some plans cover all or a part of the cost of laser corrective surgery as well.
In addition to insurance plans, discounts plans are very common for both dental and vision. Discount plans entitle you to care, glasses, and contacts from selected providers at a reduced price. Discount plans may be available through your employer, your health insurance plan, and numerous social and professional groups or they may be purchased directly. Sometimes discount plans are combined with insurance with some services being insured and with discounts for the other services.
If you’re a young, healthy individual and you’re insured, you may not need more than regular dental and vision exams just to catch any problems before they get serious. So you could purchase individual dental and vision plans to supplement your current health plan. But if you’re a young, healthy individual who not only needs dental and vision but health insurance as well, you should take a look at the revolutionary comprehensive individual health insurance solutions created by Precedent specifically for people like you. Precedent’s health insurance plans also include dental and vision coverage, as well as prescription drug coinsurance, all for a low monthly premium of around $100 per month for most people.

THANKS> and where there r stars it means im still working on that area =) and the ending still needs LOTS of work> i just put a direction that I want it to take……
Finding ME
“Yes, Mrs. Fallon,” I wearily replied as I switched the phone from one hand to another. “I will let him know.”
Hanging up the phone, I quickly glanced at the clock. “Two minutes and all the phones stops.” My spirit raised at the thought. “Maybe no one else will call,” but barely a second ticked by before the phone rang again. Sighing, I picked up“Jennifer Leider of Debevoise & Plimpton’s Law Firm. How may I help you?”
The man’s raging voice rang out. I held the phone away from my ear. Once again my line came, “Yes, Mr. Petersen; I will let him know.” Scratching down yet another complaint.
Finally done, I stood up and stretched. My body ached from sitting so long. I grabbed all my notes and slid them into the right boxes.“Have fun with this one.”I chuckled to myself as I dropped Mr. Petersen complaint into Mr. Plimpton’s slot.
The job I had taken after college was not quite what I expected to be. Hardship seemed to follow me around everywhere. My life seemed empty with no meaning.*****
Turning around the corner and ran into a tall green eyed man. “Jim!” I called out in surprise. “What are you doing here?”
“Coming to see if you would like to go to dinner?” His easy smiled covered his face.
“Certainly, I would love to. I’m just about to punch out.” My phone vibrated in my pocket. “Just a second,” I said pulling it out. Staring at the unusual number, I flipped it open
“Hello?”
“No,” I gasped “Not Mother!” My stomach twisted with knots. I glanced at Jim, his eyes filled in concern
“I’m afraid so, Jen. I’m sorry,” said James’s sorrowful voice.
“ Why had not anyone contacted me that she was sick? I am her daughter you know!” I reacted in sadness yet anger.
“ She didn’t want to bother you because she knew you were so busy with your life and the doctor did not know the cancer would take over so quickly.”
“ James, you know that’s not true. If I had known she was sick I would have been there in a heart beat.”
“ It’s to late now and it’s all your fault!” as I said this I hung up the phone. How dare they not tell me! I loved my mother so much, but was he right? Had I gotten so involved with my life that I had forgotten about my pass.
My eyes bleared with tears as I explained to Jim what had happened. He said a few words of comfort and offered to drive me to the airport in the morning. I accepted gratefully.
Tears were still running down my face as I entered Debevoise’s office and requested the week off. As soon as I arrived at my little penthouse above the streets of New York, I started packing. My mind was far away. The events did not seem real to me.
“ Thanks for bringing me, Jim.”
“ I’m glad to do it. I’m only sorry that I could not come with you,” he replied
“ I know Jim, I really wish your work had let you off. I’m going to miss you.”
We quickly said goodbye and then slowly I headed toward the terminal. My stomach fluttered with butterflies. Planes and I never could get along
When I arrived, I wobbled out of the terminal and stumbled over to a Star Bucks and ordered a caramel frappuccino and a chocolate muffin and sat down to ponder everything that was about to take place.
I had a long lonesome trip ahead of me. Houston, Texas to the little town of Springsville was going to take awhile.
I leaned down to pick up my luggage, when something yanked my hair. I spun around ready to attack, but there behind me stood a young, blond, familiar face.
I blinked my eye“James! I yelled in surprise. How did you know when I was going to get here?”
“I didn’t, I just knew you would get here as soon as you could, so I drove in last night.”
“ Thanks, but I’m quite capable of driving myself,” I said turning away from him, fearing he might see my true feelings.
I was actually really glad to see him, but I was in no way going to give him the satisfaction of knowing this.
“ Is that a way to greet an old friend? Especially after he waited all morning for you to get here.”
With a sarcastic smile I replied, “Yes, now could you help me take my thing to your car.”
“ You have changed into quite the city girl. Haven’t you, Jen?” He gave a chuckle to himself and then picked up my luggage and we headed toward the parking lot.
After reaching his truck, he placed my luggage in the back. In the car, fell an awkward silence. I decided something needed to be said. I took a deep swallow and tried not to cry as I asked more on my mother’s death.
“ Were you there when she passed away?”
“ Yes, I was. She died peaceful in the Lord and told me to tell yo

I like the story so far. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. I do think some of the parts came out somewhat stiffly. That compared to the rest of the story is nothing. So i really hope you keep on writing and update us all or at least give us a website where it will be posted. Thanks!
