In 2009 the Dallas Cowboys backfield will have a new nickname…. No, its not “The Three Headed Monser”… Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice are calling themselves “SMASH, DASH and TASH” and aparently the media has now caught on…

Barber is locked up …
Barber is locked up for 7 years, he signed a 7 year 45Mil contract in May of 2008.
Tashard signed a 4 year 2.1Mil contract and is only a second year player, so I hope we keep him, he is the one who can maintain his health.
Felix is signed for the next 5 years, he has a 5 year 10.2Mil contract and is in his second year.
So for the next 4 years we have all three…
I am sure they will redo Choice’s deal in a couple years.
Barber might be done in 6 yeas, he is a bruiser and may retire in 6.

Does anyone know how long these three guys are under contract? I would like to keep them all, but that is probably wishfull thinking. Any one of these guys can be starting for a lot of teams so they probably would want a chance to start somewhere.
