Yes, they do get paid. We were told by the tour guide at the new stadium that they get paid $100 per game, which everyone found incredulous. That’s no where near what the players get paid for playing the game, of course! And I’m not sure what they get paid for non-game appearances, which they do all across the U.S. and around the globe.

You obviously haven’t met these ladies in person. I’ve been lucky enough to get to a few of the DCC in person, and I can assure you that they are MUCH better looking in person than on camera!

I wouldn’t want to perform in much more than that in the Texas heat and humidity! And really, they isn’t any less fabric than any other NFL or even college cheer outfits. They’re just designed to be sexy.
